Our Safety & Security Liaison(s)areresponsible forpreparing for and responding to incidents that involvetenantsand visitors to ourPatricia K. building. There isspecial emphasis on challenges related to severe and persistent mental illness and substance use disorders, thatimpactthe safety and securityoftenants at the site.You primarily work with another Safety and Security Liaison during 6 hours of a 10-hour shift.There will be janitorial duties during the overlap of shifts which will be shared by team members.The available shift would be overnight Friday-Sunday.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• PatrolsPatricia K and adjacentgrounds,parkinglots,andoperating entry into the building via electronic entry exit door.
• Respondtodisruptivepersonseventswithde - escalationtechniquestoneutralize situations and mitigate negative outcomes.
• Provideson-sitestand- byserviceorescortservicesfortenants whenrequested.
• Reportspotentialconductissuesand violation ofpoliciesbytenants to theDirector of Housing and Property Manager.
• Addresstrespassingconcernsincluding working with localauthoritiestoestablishrestrictionsfor those not allowed entry into the building.
• Coordinatewithexternal safety and lawenforcement agenciesin a respectful and courteous manner.
• Involvement in emergency preparedness, including but not limitedtoworkplace violence prevention training, overseeing designated drills / exercises, and annual emergency / risk assessment.
• Reportsanddocumentsallincidentsusingstandardprocess.
• Generalcleaningdutieswhentimeallowssuch asroutine bathroom / laundry room cleaning and trash management.
• Other duties as assigned
