Job descriptionDevelop, implement, and evaluate evidence-based clinical programs that meet community needs. Integrate best practices into treatment plans to improve outcomes and patient satisfaction. Monitor clinical performance metrics and take corrective action when needed. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Joint Commission and CMS standards. Maintain accurate documentation and oversee safety and infection control measures. Supervise, mentor, and provide clinical supervision to staff, ensuring consistent use of evidence-based practices. Lead training in assessments, measurement-based care, interventions, CPR, and de-escalation. Monitor fidelity of programming and provide coaching or retraining as needed. Manage hiring, onboarding, training, and performance evaluations. Review caseloads to optimize service utilization. Serve as a liaison between clinical staff, administration, and external partners. Work with community organizations, referral sources, and healthcare providers to enhance patient access. Support business development and participate in community outreach events. Provide direct crisis intervention and case planning as needed. Maintain a limited caseload when required and provide program coverage. Develop and update operating policies to meet regulatory and care standards. Participate in on-call rotation and address patient safety concerns promptly. Education : Master's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or a related field required. Licenses / Certifications : Current state licensure (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or equivalent) required. CPR and de-escalation certification required (training available upon hire). Minimum of 5-7 years of clinical leadership experience in behavioral health. Proven track record of program development, staff supervision, and operational oversight. Familiarity with regulatory standards (e.g., Joint Commission, CMS) and experience ensuring compliance. Experience in an inpatient psychiatric or behavioral health hospital. Knowledge of performance improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma.
