Job Summary
The Compensation Manager will be accountable for developing and implementing strategies and plans to ensure competitive and fair compensation practices and programs that align with the Viega LLC vision and philosophy. This position will provide leadership and guidance to a direct report while partnering closely with our Global Viega HR team outside of the US. They will partner extensively with the people business partners, people centers of excellence, and business leaders throughout the organization to enable consistent and equitable practices, establishing efficiencies, identifying opportunities to maintain external competitiveness, attending to regulatory compliance requirements, enhancing employee satisfaction, motivation, and overall organizational success.
Responsibilities
- Manage all base pay, incentive, and compensation plans, the organization’s career architecture and job assignments, employee recognition related to compensation, and ensure our systems are aligned with our pay practices for the US and Canada.
- Define and manage the salary survey strategy, including participation and use of results for analysis, structure and plan updates.
- Manage the annual planning and review of compensation and incentive programs.
- Accountable for annual Sales Incentive Plan full end to end process; payment, change management, stakeholder management, and plan efficacy.
- Create and deliver training to employees and managers related to compensation, bonus and employee recognition programs.
- Manage and facilitate reporting and analysis for stakeholders across the business (HR leadership and business partners, talent acquisition, payroll, finance and accounting, etc.).
- Plan and manage the ADP and SuccessFactors compensation and bonus modules to ensure efficient use, accuracy, and consistency of reporting.
- Partner with other HR and leadership stakeholders on various projects, including career pathing on a broad scale and pay philosophy initiatives.
- Provide guidance and recommendations to people business partners and business leaders to ensure consistent application of compensation and job architecture guidelines and practices.
- Manage and support the work of a compensation analyst. Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to achieve performance and support growth in their position.
