This key role within the Assembly Department is responsible for kitting, assembling, inspecting, and packaging equipment to support production objectives and maintain high quality standards. In the absence of the supervisor, this individual assumes responsibility for departmental operations and overall performance.
Key Responsibilities
Interpret Technical Documentation – Read and follow blueprints, schematics, work instructions, and production paperwork to ensure accurate and efficient assembly processes.
Perform Advanced Assembly Functions – Complete assembly and modification of electronic components using soldering, crimping, wire selection, crimping equipment, and various hand and power tools.
Inspect and Troubleshoot Products – Conduct in-process and final inspections, perform testing, complete required documentation, and troubleshoot assembly issues to ensure product quality and functionality.
Support Production Flow and Quality Standards – Set up jobs, assist with packaging activities, provide guidance on assembly-related questions, maintain a clean and safe work environment, and support departmental performance when the supervisor is unavailable.
