The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated, self-starting Software Developer to join our fast-moving and agile team. You will play a key role in shaping solutions that empower CDL training providers, help trainees succeed, and simplify compliance with FMCSA regulations. This is a high-impact position requiring a blend of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively.
What You’ll Do
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using JavaScript, PHP, pgSQL, Angular, and React.
- Build intuitive user interfaces for non-technical users, such as CDL instructors and administrators.
- Implement scalable and secure APIs that support front-end functionality
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and stability.
- Automate processes like student management, driver record tracking, and ELDT compliance.
- Implement features to improve operational efficiency for CDL schools, carriers, and government agencies.
- Develop solutions that ensure 100% worry-free FMCSA audits.
- Gather requirements, prioritize impactful projects, and work closely with stakeholders.
- Participate in Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to teammates.
- Research and integrate emerging technologies to improve product performance and usability.
- Take ownership of projects from design to deployment.
- Contribute to our collaborative culture, ensuring every feature delivers value to users.
