Job description

IT Manager - Aramark Nexus

Aramark Nexus is hiring an IT Manager to lead technology operations for a new, large-scale workforce community near Hereford, Texas, within driving distance of both Hereford and Amarillo. This full-time technology leadership opportunity is designed for an experienced IT Manager who has supported a large physical footprint, complex network infrastructure, and multiple integrated technology systems. The IT Manager will be responsible for the technology environment supporting a 24/7 residential and hospitality operation. This includes network infrastructure, connectivity, hardware, end-user technology, systems integrations, vendor coordination, troubleshooting, technology projects, and ongoing support across the site. We are specifically interested in candidates with experience supporting hotels, resorts, cruise ships, large campuses, healthcare facilities, entertainment venues, or other complex operations where technology must work reliably across multiple buildings, departments, users, and operating systems. This role requires someone who can combine strong technical knowledge with project management and operational leadership. The successful candidate will be comfortable managing large network deployments, coordinating technology vendors, overseeing system implementations, troubleshooting complex issues, and partnering with operational leaders to ensure technology supports the entire resident and employee experience.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead day-to-day IT operations across a large, multi-building residential and hospitality environment.
  • Oversee network infrastructure, Wi-Fi, connectivity, hardware, end-user technology, telecommunications, and other site technology systems.
  • Manage complex technology integrations across hospitality, guest services, security, facilities, food service, administrative, and operational platforms.
  • Lead large-scale network installations, infrastructure deployments, system implementations, upgrades, and technology projects.
  • Coordinate technology vendors, contractors, service providers, and corporate IT partners to ensure projects and ongoing support are delivered effectively.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex network, hardware, software, connectivity, and system integration issues.
  • Establish processes for IT support, incident response, escalation, asset management, system documentation, and preventive maintenance.
  • Monitor network and system performance and identify opportunities to improve reliability, security, capacity, and user experience.
  • Manage technology inventories, equipment deployment, replacement planning, licensing, and related operating expenses.
  • Partner with operational leaders to understand technology needs and ensure systems support residents, employees, and business operations.
  • Maintain appropriate cybersecurity, access control, data protection, and technology compliance standards in partnership with corporate IT teams.
  • Provide technology leadership during site growth, expansion, new building openings, and the implementation of new systems or services.

Qualifications:

  • Requires progressive experience in information technology, IT operations, network infrastructure, systems administration, technology management, or a related field.
  • Previous experience as an IT Manager, IT Operations Manager, Infrastructure Manager, Network Manager, Systems Manager, or similar technology leader is strongly preferred.
  • Experience supporting a hotel, resort, cruise ship, large campus, healthcare facility, entertainment complex, or other large-footprint operation is highly valued.
  • Strong experience with enterprise networking, Wi-Fi, network infrastructure, connectivity, hardware, telecommunications, and technology troubleshooting.
  • Demonstrated experience leading large network deployments, technology integrations, system implementations, or other complex IT projects.
  • Strong project management experience, including managing vendors, timelines, budgets, dependencies, and multiple concurrent initiatives.
  • Experience supporting multiple integrated business systems and coordinating technology across different operational departments.
  • Strong understanding of IT security, access management, data protection, system reliability, and operational continuity.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field preferred. Equivalent professional experience will also be considered.
  • Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate technical issues clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Schedule flexibility is required and may include evenings, weekends, holidays, and after-hours escalation based on the needs of a 24/7 operation.

About Aramark:

Location and Future On-Site Housing:

This position will support a new project located near Hereford, Texas, within driving distance of both Hereford and Amarillo. Additional details regarding the specific work location will be shared with candidates as they move through the hiring process. As the project develops, free on-site room and board is planned to become available for eligible employees. This will include housing and meals provided at no cost, creating an option for employees who prefer to live closer to the worksite rather than commute each day. Additional information about housing, availability, amenities, and timing will be provided as those services become available.
