Micron's Industrial and Physical AI team is driving the next generation of intelligent manufacturing, construction, and facility operations through AI, robotics, digital twins, and automation technologies! We collaborate with distributed team members from construction, manufacturing, facilities, and engineering. Our goal is to deliver scalable AI solutions that enhance safety, accelerate project execution, and optimize performance worldwide at Micron!

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Product Owner, Industrial & Physical AI to define and manage the product roadmap, requirements, and delivery strategy for AI-enabled solutions supporting construction, facilities, EHS, digital twin, and physical AI initiatives. This role serves as the critical link between executive partners and technical delivery teams, ensuring business needs are translated into prioritized product backlogs and successfully delivered across global programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Define and manage the product roadmap for Industrial and Physical AI solutions, aligning priorities with strategic objectives and global megafab construction and operational schedules.
  • Lead collaborator engagement activities with Construction, Manufacturing Operations, Facilities, EHS, Equipment Engineering, and Material Handling teams to identify business requirements, constraints, and success metrics.
  • Translate business needs into clear, testable product requirements, including user stories, acceptance criteria, business and functional requirements documents, data specifications, and AI performance metrics.
  • Manage a hybrid Agile and Waterfall delivery framework, balancing capital project stage-gates, system integrations, and software development sprints.
  • Prioritize and maintain the product backlog while making scope, sequencing, and trade-off decisions in partnership with business and technical leaders.
  • Partner closely with software, data, AI/ML, and integration engineering teams throughout planning, development, testing, release, and adoption activities.
  • Lead user acceptance testing, coordinate transitions, training, deployment, performance reporting, and vendor management to ensure successful global adoption and operational support.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Construction Management, or a related technical field.
  • 6+ years of experience in Product Management, Product Ownership, Technical Program Management, or a similar role supporting software, data, or AI enabled products.
  • Demonstrated experience leading product delivery within industrial, manufacturing, construction, facilities, or other complex operational environments.
  • Knowledge of modern AI/ML technologies, data platforms, analytics solutions, and software development lifecycles.
  • Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into structured deliverables such as user stories, acceptance criteria, business requirements, and functional specifications.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Computer Science, Construction Management, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience managing products or programs involving AI, machine learning, computer vision, robotics, automation, or digital twin technologies.
  • Familiarity with construction technology and workflows, including BIM/VDC, Primavera P6, RFIs, submittals, procurement processes, EHS programs, and field operations.
  • Knowledge of physical AI and robotics ecosystems, including NVIDIA Isaac Sim, Isaac Lab, Omniverse/ OpenUSD, ROS 2, computer vision platforms, and AMR/AGV technologies.
  • Experience supporting large-scale capital projects, industrial automation initiatives, smart manufacturing programs, or global site deployments.
