Position Role Type : Onsite
This position is responsible for coordinating, interpreting, implementing and enforcing policies and procedures in accordance with the Department of Defense (DoD) National Industrial Security Program, and other government agency directives. This position's main area of focus will be Classified Material Registry (Document Control).
What YOU will do :
You will assist the Facility Security Officer (FSO) and Assistant FSO (AFSO) in maintaining accountability, control, and destruction of classified material in support of DoD programs in accordance with the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (32 CFR Part 117) and NSA destruction guidelines.
You will assist the FSO and AFSO in the development and implementation of security procedures to ensure accountability and control of classified material.
You will help in controlling all DoD GSA approved secure containers.
You will assist in the maintenance of security awareness programs.
You will support in the shipment, receipt, accountability and destruction of classified materials.
You will help coordinate and conduct annual self-inspections and annual inventories of classified materials.
You will verify the identification, clearance level, and need-to-know of any individual requesting access to classified material.
You will provide professional support and customer service to coworkers as well as internal and external customers daily.
You will operate in accordance with corporate and division policies and practices.
Qualifications you must have :
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Typically requires HS Diploma or AA / AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
Must have the ability to achieve and maintain a Top-Secret Government Security clearance.
Must become thoroughly familiar with Industrial Security policies and procedures and must have a demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and professionally with a broad range of personnel.

The salary range for this role is 44,000 USD - 102,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
