  • Perform focused data reviews and analyses for high-priority, high-risk, and strategically significant projects.
  • Identify recurring project trends, lessons learned, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Provide independent observations and recommendations regarding construction management practices and operational effectiveness.
  • Facilitate communication and resolution of procedural issues between project teams, leadership, consultants, and stakeholders.
  • Perform special assignments, operational reviews, and targeted project analyses as requested.
  • Support clarification of roles, responsibilities, and handoff processes between project management, construction management, inspection teams, and project stakeholders throughout project lifecycle phases.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of construction management experience managing horizontal infrastructure projects.
  • Experience managing complex construction projects with multiple stakeholders and project delivery requirements.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE), Registered Architect (RA), or Certified Construction Manager (CCM).
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience with construction administration, inspection coordination, contract management, and construction project delivery.
  • Knowledge of Greenbook and/or Caltrans specifications and construction practices.
  • Ability to interpret contract plans, specifications, permits, and other technical documentation.
  • Ability to effectively facilitate project team meetings and coordinate activities among project stakeholders.
  • Ability to independently complete assignments, develop and maintain project logs, and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to prepare reports, presentations, and project documentation.
  • Ability to adapt to changing project priorities and effectively respond to project issues and challenges.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and related project documentation tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience evaluating construction management workflows and developing process improvement recommendations.
  • Experience developing construction procedures, guidance documents, templates, checklists, and best management practices.
  • Experience supporting portfolio reviews, project reporting, dashboards, and executive-level presentations.
