Our client, a leading professional services firm specializing in commercial construction, is seeking a Construction Superintendent to join their team. As a Construction Superintendent, you will be part of the Construction Department supporting project management and site operations. The ideal candidate will have experience with Primavera P6 and ProCore, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: Construction Superintendent
Location: Cerritos, California
Pay Range: $80K-$120K Yearly
What's the Job?
-
Oversee renovations and retrofit projects for commercial buildings valued up to $5 million, from planning through implementation.
-
Supervise and coordinate onsite personnel and subcontractors to ensure adherence to project schedules.
-
Manage projects effectively to minimize changes, delays, and disruptions to end users.
-
Perform minor demolition, general carpentry, framing, hardware installation, and small-scale facility upgrades as needed.
-
Interface with project inspectors, architects, engineers, clients, and local officials to ensure compliance and smooth communication.
What's Needed?
-
At least 5 years of experience in commercial construction supervision.
-
Experience working in occupied facilities preferred.
-
Ability to develop and update construction schedules (experience with Microsoft Project or P6 preferred).

Knowledge of OSHA safety standards; OSHA 10 and First Aid/CPR certification preferred.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with Procore is advantageous.
