Job Description and Duties
The Department of State Hospital-Napa currently has a vacancy for a Tractor Operator-Laborer. Under direction, the Tractor Operator-Laborer operates heavy tractors and attachments used in tilling soil, planting, and harvesting, or inbuilding and maintaining levees and unimproved roads and to perform related laboring work. The Tractor Operator-Laborer operates trucks and other power equipment : may instruct, lead, or supervise inmates, wards, or resident workers; and, to do other related work. They also operate heavy equipment to assist in various construction and maintenance projects, mows and / or discs weeds in unimproved areas; blades fire trails; and , hauls and / or moves materials.
Applications will be accepted until position is filled. Multiple cut-off dates are set for application submission : May 20, 2024 and June 10, 2024 . Applications received after a cut-off date will be processed for the next cut-off date listed.
