Key Responsibilities Efficiently answers incoming calls and connects callers to the appropriate extension Takes and relays messages accurately and responds to emergency calls promptly Performs operator functions, including triaging calls and maintaining workflow in the department Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Minimum three years of office experience, preferably in a medical setting Ability to operate office equipment such as a keyboard, telephone, and copier Must be able to maintain confidentiality and adhere to compliance standards Physical capability to sit for long periods and occasionally lift files weighing up to 30 pounds
