Position Summary :
A rapidly growing construction services company is seeking a Project Engineer to join its Woburn, MA office. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates looking to launch their career and gain hands-on experience in both estimating and project management. The role offers extensive training, professional development, and exposure to a wide range of construction disciplines.
Primary Responsibilities :
Interpret plans and specifications to support bidding activities
Perform quantity takeoffs using On-Screen Takeoff
Assist with bid preparation in accordance with established estimating procedures
Participate in scope review meetings to gain experience representing the company
Develop understanding of labor, material, and equipment costs at local and state levels
Support the preparation of written estimates and proposals
Participate in training programs focused on project management, estimating, cost control, and field operations
Visit active job sites to learn field methods and construction systems
Gain knowledge of building codes, product lines, and company marketing practices
Assist Business Development with marketing and closings
Perform additional duties as assigned
