Protection & Controls Engineer
Job Overview :
A leading design, engineering, and project management organization is seeking a skilled Protection & Controls Engineer to ensure the safety and stability of power distribution networks. This role involves developing protection and control schemes, conducting power system studies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive project success. Key Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to create efficient and reliable electrical design packages for medium and high voltage substations.
- Design and develop protection and control schemes for power distribution networks, ensuring safe and reliable system operation.
- Conduct power system studies and analyses to identify potential issues and optimize performance.
- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot SCADA systems for monitoring and controlling power distribution networks.
- Work closely with engineers, project managers, and field personnel to successfully implement protection and control solutions.
- Provide technical support during installation, testing, and maintenance of systems.
- Stay current with industry standards and best practices related to power system protection and control.
- Meet project timelines and deliverables while maintaining high work quality and customer satisfaction.
Required Qualifications :
Salary Range :
Up to $105,060, commensurate with experience.
