Expect to conduct regular assessments, document patient progress, and report any changes to the supervising occupational therapist.

You will also provide education and support to clients and their families, guiding them in the use of adaptive equipment or techniques. Additionally, maintaining a clean and organized therapy environment and managing schedules effectively will be essential. • Candidates must hold an Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) program, while a Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus. An active and unrestricted COTA license in Arizona is required.
  • Prior experience of at least 1-2 years in home health or rehabilitation settings is crucial, demonstrating the ability to work independently in patient care.
  • Proficiency in implementing treatment plans under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, aligned with patient-specific goals, is vital for achieving functional outcomes.
  • Familiarity with Medicare, Medicaid, and home health care regulations is necessary.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills will help you effectively engage with patients, families, and the care team.
  • Additionally, excellent organizational skills and proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems, such as WellSky, are essential for efficient documentation and care coordination.
  • A patient-centered focus and a commitment to delivering compassionate care are what will set you apart in this rewarding role.

Are you ready for an exciting opportunity?
