AFSOC ACTS is a dynamic and diverse team on a recurring multi-year program seeking a Data Manager who likes to be challenged, solve problems, and be a contributing member of a fast-paced, highly skilled Agile program.

THE WORK
As a Data Manager, you will be a central hub for all Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) related activities for the Air Force Special Operations (AFSOC) Air Commando Training Support (ACTS) contracts. You’ll partner with program leadership, engineers, quality assurance, subcontractors and other functions to translate contract deliverable requirements into actionable delivery plans, implementing and tracking those plans and reporting status to leadership and the customer. Additionally, you’ll be the be responsible for program data baselines, data distribution and document control system management.
As part of the Configuration Management/Data Management (CM/DM) team, your job responsibilities will include following:
• Oversee the product lifecycle of program data items
• Plan for, generate, develop, collect, prepare, maintain, modify, publish, reproduce, and distribute contractually required data with content, format, and in quantities specified by the Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL)
• Accurately track and monitor CDRL deliverable metrics and contractual deadlines
• Review, edit, and format CDRL deliverables against contract requirements and format standards
• Route documentation and coordinate reviews for program data
• Establish, maintain and update program data baselines and status of program data items
• Manage changes, additions and deletions of data items.
• Control data distribution in accordance with distribution and data control markings
• Coordinates with site Engineers, Quality Assurance (QA), Maintenance and Government representatives on CM/DM activities
• Document and implement process improvements to data management process and ensure all data management Work Instructions are current
Occasional travel may be required.

Desired skills
• Demonstrated understanding of Configuration and Data Management, including documentation/data baselines
• Understanding configuration management concepts, able to assist in documenting hardware and software configuration management processes
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, problem solving, analytical and organizational skills
• Ability to work well independently and as a part of a team
• Experience with SharePoint administration, or similar document/collaboration system administration
