Job description
A company is looking for a DevOps Engineer who will be involved in designing, planning, installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting Telecom applications and services.
Key Responsibilities
Design, plan, install, administer, and troubleshoot applications, systems, and services in production and lab / test environments
Administer and support high availability mission-critical applications and systems, while analyzing and resolving complex interoperability issues
Participate in architecture / design reviews, requirements analysis, and capacity planning, providing guidance to development and product management teams
Required Qualifications
Entry-level to 3+ years of experience in planning, integrating, and operating carrier or enterprise-grade high-availability telecom solutions
Expertise with administering UNIX (Solaris), Linux (RedHat, Ubuntu, and CentOS), and Windows server operating systems
Experience with virtualization solutions including VMware and Oracle VM
Understanding of systems and network architecture of large-scale distributed networks
Scripting skills in Perl, Python, Bash, or similar scripting languages
