In this role will offer you the following daily responsibilities :
This position supports the completion of Weapons System Infrastructure and Capabilities (WSIC) projects. Exercises technical authority for the design, integration and completion of assigned WSIC projects to include major facility modifications, construction projects and Class III support equipment installation projects for the Trident II missile. Develops and reviews engineering design packages; drawings, specifications and cost estimates. Reviews facility project designs for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, customer contract requirements, and related specifications. Evaluates and approves design changes, specifications and drawing releases.
Although this position does support some teleworking; the preferred candidate will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility in , and be expected to work in the office as needed
Desired skills
To be effective, ideally, you should also have :
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university or college.
- Licensure in Electrical Engineering (FE / PE).
- Demonstrated experience estimating costs for facility projects.
- Possess effective relationship-building skills with peers, leadership and suppliers
- You bring positivity and enthusiasm to every project you touch. In addition to the work, you love being part of a team and working collaboratively through the process.
- Demonstrated exceptional strategic communication skills, both written, verbal, and presentation, to effectively communicate business cases to all levels of peers, suppliers, and stakeholders, as well as program executives, with an ability to persuade and motivate action.
