Description
As a Commercial Electrical Foreman at Gardner Energy, you will play a crucial role in leading project installations and overseeing the work of installers/laborers on various project sites. You will collaborate closely with our Commercial Construction Division and Operations Manager to ensure the successful execution of projects within specified timelines and budgets. The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in commercial electrical systems, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of quality and safety.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage onsite project installations, including EV charger installations and general contracting of large commercial solar structures and arrays.
- Coordinate with project teams to ensure quality assurance and control throughout the installation process.
- Conduct daily safety meetings with crew members to reinforce adherence to safety protocols and regulations.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to installation crew members to optimize performance and productivity.
- Track and report onsite job time, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
- Maintain strong customer service relationships by interfacing with clients during the installation phase and conducting post-installation walk-throughs.
- Follow building plan sets and specifications to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization at job sites, including daily cleanup activities.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues as they arise and implement effective solutions.
- Monitor equipment setup and operation to ensure efficient and reliable performance.
- Uphold strict safety practices on all job sites, with a commitment to achieving zero injuries.
- Perform any additional duties as required or assigned by management.
- Minimum of 3+ years' experience as a Journeyman Electrician, with a focus on commercial electrical systems.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Proven leadership experience and the ability to make quick, informed decisions.
- Proficiency in MS Office programs, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Strong commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
- Qualified Commercial Electrical Foreman positions range from $40-$48 / hour
