Job Description :

L3Harris Fuzing & Ordnance Systems is in search of an Engineering Technician who will work with a multi-disciplinary team to collaboratively design, manufacture, and test electronic and electro-mechanical devices that support war fighters for the USA and our allies. The successful candidate will use manual and automated test equipment ( multimeters, oscilloscopes, signal test generators, power supplies, counters, etc .) and troubleshoot electronic circuitry to the component level. Knowledge of computerized test equipment, including hands-on experience is required.

Key Duties and Responsibilities :

• Set up test equipment and perform electronic testing, both manual and automated, in a production environment.
• Perform electronic troubleshooting and fault isolation.
• Record test data, maintain test data file system, shop routing documentation and accept / reject data for production & engineering assemblies.
• Assist technicians and engineers in performing Root Cause and Failure Analysis.
• Calibrate electronic test measuring equipment and signal generating equipment to conform to set standards.
• Correct malfunctions by adjusting or replacing parts or components.
• Assist Engineering in establishing operating standards for test systems including detailed test plans and work instructions.
