Special Education Teacher – Middle and High School

Kelly Pediatric Therapy is seeking a passionate Special Education Teacher to join an elementary school team supporting students in self-contained and resource rooms.

This full-time opportunity is ideal for an educator who enjoys creating a structured, supportive environment while helping students reach their individual goals.

Compensation & Perks

• $48–$55 per hour, based on experience

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement instruction aligned with students’ IEP goals
• Support students with Autism and diverse learning and behavioral needs
• Create a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment
• Monitor student progress and maintain documentation
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with families, administrators, and related service providers
• Utilize evidence-based instructional and behavioral strategies

Requirements

• Missouri Special Education Teaching Certification preferred
• Candidates working toward Missouri Special Education certification are encouraged to apply
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Special Education, or related field
• Experience with Autism or diverse learning needs preferred
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• Ability to obtain required state and district clearances
