We are seeking a skilled ETL Developer to join our team for a critical project involving the migration of various databases to Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) and GCP, with a strong understanding of ETL processes and data migration. Proficiency in Python is a plus. The candidate should be comfortable working in an agile environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Data Migration : Lead the migration of various databases like Oracle to GCP, ensuring data integrity.
- ETL Development : Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes using IICS to extract, transform, and load data from various sources to GCP.
- GCP Expertise : Utilize GCP services such as BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataproc, and Cloud Composer to build and optimize data pipelines.
- Python Scripting : Develop and maintain Python scripts for data processing and automation tasks.
- Agile Methodology : Participate in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Performance Optimization : Monitor and optimize ETL processes for performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Documentation : Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for ETL processes, data flows, and system configurations.
- Troubleshooting : Identify and resolve issues related to data migration and ETL processes promptly.
- Education : Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience :
- Minimum of + years of experience in ETL development and data migration.
- Proven experience with IICS and GCP.
- Experience with Oracle databases and SQL.
- Proficiency in Python is highly desirable.
- Experience working in an agile environment.
- Technical Skills :
- Strong knowledge of ETL tools and processes.
- Expertise in GCP services (BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataproc, Cloud Composer).
- Proficiency in SQL and data modeling.
- Familiarity with Python scripting for data processing.
