Fresno Pacific University is seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our dynamic Kinesiology Department as a tenure-track Associate Professor. This position offers the exciting opportunity to teach and mentor students in a growing and innovative program that serves traditional undergraduate, degree completion, and graduate students. Our Kinesiology program provides a robust curriculum with a Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology, including emphases in Physical Education Teaching and Kinesiology, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with concentrations in Exercise Physiology, Sports Performance, and several pre-professional tracks (Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Athletic Training). We also offer a Master of Arts in Kinesiology, providing opportunities for advanced academic engagement and professional development.
The department is housed in modern facilities that include faculty offices, a multi-purpose fitness center, and well-equipped laboratories. Our campus is ideally situated near leading medical centers, scenic running and cycling trails, and natural landmarks like Yosemite and Sequoia National Parks.
