Role Overview
The Fire Technician provides fire alarm system installation which requires low voltage wiring, performing testing and troubleshooting on the systems, and compliance with local codes.
Status : Full-Time, Non-exempt
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Install and wire fire alarm system per local building and fire code
- Read, understand and follow blueprints
- Conduct a proper test and inspection
- Troubleshoot and service a fire alarm system
- Communicate expectations with customers
- Out of town travel / stay on occasion for this position. (Per diem and hotel is provided as needed)
Education and Experience :
The Alert Alarm Benefit :
Compensation starts at $19 to $33+ per hour DOE and ICC and / or NICET certifications.
