Founded in Tampa Florida i9 Sports is the nations first and largest youth sports league franchise business in the United States with over 1 million registrations in more than 500 communities from New York to Hawaii. Established in 2003 by Frank Fiume on the principle that the number one reason kids play organized sports is to have fun not to become the next draft pick.

i9 Sports offers youth sports leagues camps and clinics for kids ages 317 in todays most popular sports such as flag football soccer basketball volleyball and baseball. With our focus on fun safety convenience and good sportsmanship i9 Sports is reinventing the youth sports experience for families across the country. Its the way youth sports should be. Job Summary

The Sports Coordinator is responsible for enhancing the i9 Sports Experience for players and coaches. The Sports Coordinator will need to build relationships with players parents and coaches while making sure that the instructional aspects of the i9 Sports Experience are delivered. Observing assessing and assisting our coaches is paramount. The position entails handson involvement with practices and games among all age groups and skill levels.

Responsibilities

Empower volunteer coaches to lead practice sessions focusing on fundamentals skill development and fun

Teach & demonstrate core concepts including Sportsmanship values

Supervise the overall operation of designated sport on game day

Ensure gameday schedule is adhered to and all games / practices are started on time

Consistently demonstrate a positive attitude and superior customer service skills

Assist with setup and breakdown of athletic fields and equipment

Fillin as a team coach as needed or if volunteer coach is unavailable

Qualifications

Excellent communication skills

Sportspecific coaching experience & knowledge

Highly motivated selfstarter; can work independently & solve problems

Awareness & ability to take charge of any situation to ensure the safety of players

Positive attitude and a strong ability to build professional relationships

Ability to work a varied work schedule including weekends and some evenings (for the full duration of the season 7 weeks)

Must be able to pass a National Criminal Background Check

Fall season will begin September 24th and run for 7 weeks each Saturday. Looking for candidates willing to commit to the 7 week season. Typical day will begin with setup at 7 : 00am and ends between 12 : 002 : 00pm.

Compensation : $16.00 per hour
