Job description1 year of forklift experience. 1 year of warehouse experience. Prior forklift certification is preferred. Ability to count accurately when moving inventory. Ability to read scales. Ability to multi-task and detailed oriented. Being alert and aware when driving the forklift in a safe manner. Ability to communicate and work by themself or with a team. Ability to work in tighter, confined spaces with a forklift. Pass a background check and other pre-employment screenings. Have reliable transportation to the site and be able to arrive at the work site as instructed. Maintain enthusiasm, good attitude, honesty and a willingness to treat all with respect.
Job Description : Responsibilities :
- Professional, accident-free operation of the forklift, and the precise keeping of the forklift inspections.
- Systematic maintenance and cleaning of the forklift.
- Continuous tracking of the location of goods during material handling using WMS. Use the WMSystem accordingly and ensure accurate data entry.
- Perform any other manual job at the direction of the warehouse supervisor or team lead (e.g. sampling, inventory, cleaning).
- Keep the warehouse clean and tidy.
- During the seed delivery and return season : ensure proper (loading and unloading) of transport vehicles with quality packages to meet customer expectations.
- Maintain safety standards - initiate & follow emergency procedures when necessary.
