Job descriptionAt least two years of public and / or private accounting experience. An undergraduate degree with a strong GPA. CPA preferred. Proficient knowledge of Excel. Strong intellect Quality focus : strong attention to detail, work ethic, and motivation to continually improve. Efficiency mindset : desire to achieve high quality outcomes in an efficient manner. Accountability : strong ownership of responsibilities and deadlines. Team-orientation : ability to work collaboratively within Fund Accounting, with other departments, and vendor contacts. Open-minded : willingness to work on a variety of projects, flexible, and focused on process improvement Intellectual curiosity : drive to learn, grow and contribute to various initiatives.

JOB FUNCTION
The Fund Accountant will report to the Fund Controller. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to :
- Calculate fund incentive fees, investor balances and liquidity, investor redemption wires, and monthly fund management fees.
- Handle various reconciliation processes.
- Compute weekly performance estimates.
- Review, allocate, and process fund expense payments.
- Prepare monthly NAV package. In doing so, will analyze differences and liaise with the fund administrator to resolve.
- Prepare / review monthly internal and external reporting.
- Review monthly investor statements.
- Help meet various regulatory requirements and filings.
- Coordinate with fund administrator and external auditors to produce audited financial statements.
- Play an important role in efficiency initiatives, including IT projects, workflow optimization and vendor management.
