Hammer & Steel seeks to hire a Heavy Equipment Technician / Mechanic to join our team in Benicia, CA .
Shift : Monday-Friday 7 : 00am-3 : 30pm

Responsibilities
- Running diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairing of hydraulic, mechanical, electrical, and fuel systems on heavy construction equipment.
- Completes all required preventative maintenance operations including lubrications, fluid changes, and minor diesel engine maintenance.
- Completes accurate written records of work performed.
- Provide education to customers on equipment operation and performance.
- Travel within assigned region, as needed, to customer job sites to provide equipment training, maintenance, and repairs.
- Mentor and train apprentice technicians / mechanics.
