Special Requirements :

Patient ages are 18-100. Hemodialysis treatments completed on hospital inpatients that are suffering from chronic or acute renal failure, fluid overload, hypokalemia, etc.

Unit has 6 bays. Dialysis nurses may also complete dialysis treatments at patient's bedside (away from dialysis unit) if medically necessary. Strong critical thinking skills needed for position.

Utilize Braun Dialysis Machines and Fresenius Critline Monitoring. Have an ultrasound machine available on unit to help with fistula access
