Job descriptionHigh School Diploma or GED preferred. Previous housekeeping janitorial or custodial experience (property management experience preferred). Maintain a professional and courteous manner with residents visitors contractors and fellow employees Must have the ability to follow oral and written instructions Strong attention to detail and time management skills. Reliable punctual and able to work independently or as part of a team. Pass criminal background screening prior to employment. Possession of a valid drivers license and up-to-date vehicle insurance OR reliable transportation is required. If minimum qualifications are met during resume screening the Wonderlic pre-employment assessment is required. The assessment will arrive in the email inbox that you provided. The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness appearance and sanitation of common areas vacant units and offices within the property. This position plays a vital role in ensuring a clean welcoming and safe environment for residents guests and staff.
What Youll Do
- Clean and maintain common areas including lobbies hallways laundry rooms fitness centers restrooms and offices.
- Clean and prepare vacant apartments for new residents including dusting mopping vacuuming disinfecting surfaces and ensuring all fixtures are spotless.
- Notify management or maintenance staff of any safety hazards maintenance issues or needed repairs.
- Assist with special cleaning projects such as carpet shampooing window cleaning or seasonal deep cleans.
- Remove trash and debris from designated areas and ensure proper disposal.
