Our client, a private investment management firm, is seeking an Information Technology Associate. The Associate is responsible for complete executive information technology support, including but not limited to company and personal computers, mobile devices, and home media. While not actively engaging in executive support, the Associate will provide onsite technical support to the San Francisco and Santa Clara offices.
Please note this is a part-time, on-site, 3-6 month contract role. This role is primarily based in the SF office, but may require some travel to their Santa Clara office. Pay will be $29-30 / hr.
Key Responsibilities :
Provide executive-level IT support for Windows, Mac OS, iOS, and home media technologies, with a strong emphasis on Apple products.
Support applications, including Microsoft Office Suite and other company software.
Manage mobility and wireless networking needs.
Set up, configure, and troubleshoot audio / visual conferencing systems.
Lead and participate in executive-related IT projects.
Document system configurations, installations, processes, and procedures.
Deliver onsite and remote IT support for system, software, and hardware issues.
Act as the first point of contact for IT Service Desk inquiries, monitor issues, and resolve or escalate as needed.
Support onboarding and offboarding of users.
Participate in planning, troubleshooting, and status meetings.
Research and recommend emerging technologies.
Maintain and deploy workstation images and prepare new computers for deployment.
Manage OS and third-party security patching.
Configure and secure corporate and personal mobile devices.
Build strong relationships with personnel, stakeholders, and vendors to meet short- and long-term goals.
Occasionally lift and move computing equipment (up to 50 lbs).
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree (B.A., B.S., or equivalent) and at least 2 years of professional IT support experience, preferably in buy-side financial institutions.
Proven expertise in IT system deployment and support.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to executive management concisely.
Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to shifting priorities and deadlines.
Proficiency in computer hardware, including desktops, laptops, and smartphones.
Familiarity with the Microsoft ecosystem (Windows, Office) and basic networking principles.
Knowledge of endpoint security and basic cybersecurity best practices.
