We are seeking a skilled and experienced Injection Molding Technician or Blow Molding Technician to join our team. This critical role ensures production uptime and efficiency by providing technical expertise and diagnostic support for our manufacturing operations. Key Responsibilities :

Perform mold changes and set up production lines efficiently.

Handle mold processing tasks, including startups, sampling, troubleshooting, cycle optimization, and setups.

Inspect and test machinery and equipment to diagnose malfunctions and recommend solutions.

Repair or replace defective machine parts, such as hydraulic valves, using precision tools and following technical specifications.

Optimize machine performance by minimizing scrap and downtime.

Identify and report potential equipment or facility issues.

Ensure compliance with product safety regulations and SQF standards.

Complete additional tasks as assigned.

Skills and Expertise :

In-depth knowledge of :

Plastic conveying and blender systems.

Compressed air systems.

Water chiller and tower systems.

Ability to interpret technical documents, including maintenance manuals, schematics, and blueprints.

Strong mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical troubleshooting and repair skills.

Welding capabilities and experience diagnosing equipment malfunctions.

Familiarity with PLC and robot programming (preferred).

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Forklift certification is a plus.

Qualifications :

At least 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in high-volume manufacturing.

Experience with PET Stretch Blow Molding or Injection Stretch Blow Molding (preferred); other Injection Molding or Blow Molding experience also considered.

Hands-on experience in mold setup and change processing.

Flexibility to work overtime when necessary, especially for emergency repairs.

Team-oriented, adaptable, and able to multitask effectively in a dynamic environment.
