Position Overview We’re searching for a results-oriented professional to participate in and oversee our sales team. The ideal candidate should have experience in seafood sales, purchasing [JP1] , and sales management. In this dual role, you’ll lead our sales team by example, helping them to achieve performance targets and optimizing sales strategies, while also leveraging sales data to help make inform purchasing decisions that meet market demand. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with drive, who thrives in a dynamic role with a mix of leadership and analytics. Key Responsibilities Help develop and implement strategic sales and purchasing plans to foster business growth. Lead, mentor, and support the sales team in achieving sales objectives through professional development. Help analyze sales performance and market trends to make informed purchasing decisions. Build and maintain long-term customer relationships by understanding and meeting their needs. Setting individual sales targets for the sales team, tracking performance and adjusting strategies as needed. Report on sales performance, revenue, and forecasts to senior management, identifying areas for improvement. Stay informed of industry trends to identify growth opportunities. Qualifications 5+ years of sales management experience, with a record of developing and coaching high-performing teams. Strong analytical skills to evaluate sales data and forecast trends for purchasing. Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills. Capable of working in a stressful, fast-paced environment with the ability to quickly adapt strategies based on changing market conditions. Experience within the seafood industry is preferred.
