Position Overview :
Our client is seeking a seasoned Vice President to join their high performing Investment Banking team, specializing in Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) within the Architecture, Engineering, and Consulting (AEC) industry across the Middle Market.
As a Vice President, you will be responsible for leading deal execution, managing client relationships, and mentoring junior bankers. You will work closely with senior leadership to deliver high-quality M&A advisory to AEC firms navigating strategic growth, consolidation, and capital markets opportunities.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead end-to-end M&A transaction execution, including sell-side and buy-side mandates
- Develop and maintain client relationships with AEC firm executives, private equity sponsors, and strategic acquirers.
- Oversee the preparation of marketing materials, including confidential information memoranda (CIMs), management presentations, and pitch books.
- Conduct and review financial modeling, valuation analyses (DCF, precedent transactions, comparable companies), and strategic alternatives assessments.
- Manage due diligence processes, coordinate with legal, accounting, and other third-party advisors, and ensure deal timelines are met.
- Support origination efforts by identifying new business opportunities and contributing to strategic pitches.
- Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
