Atlas Tech a veteran-owned IT company serving multiple DoD customers in support of Americas warfighters is looking for an experienced Linux Engineer to join our team in Charleston SC.

You Will :

• Provide knowledge in systems engineering and information technology as it relates to Service and Systems Management
• Provide technical knowledge to support and maintain Linux systems
• Investigate and resolve issues that span multiple applications / technologies and require involvement from technical personnel across multiple groups
• Develop solutions to solve problems and implement enhancements
• Provide technical knowledge to support and maintain IT enterprise products
• Integrate COTS and GOTS software into CANES baselines
• Provide technical knowledge to design systems that monitor and manage CANES baselines
• Provide knowledge in systems engineering and information technology
• Develop and / or revise system designs and architectures to improve efficiency stability effectiveness supportability and sustainability
• Provide feedback on internal processes and recommendations for improvement
• Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related taskings as directed
• Provide technical knowledge to design systems that monitor and manage DoD systems
• Prepare technical briefs to present to engineering review teams
• Install test branches on physical hardware on lab equipment as first level integration tests
• Verify install documentation is executable
