Job Overview

We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for an 11-week contract assignment in Middletown, Rhode Island. The LPN will provide high-quality nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing environment while supporting patient care plans and collaborating with the healthcare team.

This role requires strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced long-term care setting.


Key Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care to residents according to care plans and physician orders
Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
Monitor patient conditions and report changes to supervising RN or physician
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care
Assist with admissions, discharges, and resident assessments
Support infection control and safety protocols
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
Promote resident comfort, dignity, and quality of care


Requirements

Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) license required
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or required by facility standards
Previous experience in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred
Strong clinical and communication skills
Ability to work evening shifts consistently throughout the contract
Knowledge of medication administration, patient care standards, and safety protocols

Candidates must bring valid state or federal issued identification
Facility photo badge must be worn at all times during assignment
