Chemical Processing Laborer
Location: Akron, OH
Shift: 1st Shift
Pay: $20.00 per hour

Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable Chemical Processing Laborer to assist with filling, packaging, and cleaning operations in a production environment. This is a hands-on position that requires attention to detail, the ability to work safely around chemicals, and comfort performing physical tasks throughout the shift.

Job Duties

  • Fill containers of various sizes with designated products according to instructions.
  • Cap, box, label, and palletize finished products.
  • Clean used product containers and storage equipment to a like-new condition.
  • Use cleaning chemicals and follow proper safety procedures.
  • Wear a face mask and other required personal protective equipment (PPE) during cleaning processes.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Meet daily production and quality expectations.

Qualifications

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and stay productive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to meet production quotas and deadlines.
  • Comfortable working around chemicals and chemical odors.
  • Dependable with a strong focus on workplace safety.

Candidates must consent to a pre-employment background check and drug screen, and must be able to provide two professional job references.

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $19.00 - $20.00 Per Hour
