As a Mail Clerk, you will be an essential part of the Operations Department supporting daily office logistics and mailroom activities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title : Mail Clerk
Location : Kansas City, Missouri
Pay Range : $16-23 / hr.
Job Type : Contract (Feb-Aug)
What's the Job?
Receive, sort, and deliver mail, packages, and boxes to ensure timely distribution within the organization.
Scan mail stops on each delivery route to maintain accurate records and tracking.
Unload and store received items securely and efficiently.
Package and prepare shipments using various ground and express delivery services.
Maintain an organized and clean mailroom area to promote a safe and productive workspace.
What's Needed?
High School Diploma or GED required.
Must be able to lift and move various size and weight packages (up to 50 pounds)
Experience in office services within a corporate environment or related field preferred.
Knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
