Job descriptionResponsible for shelter facility repairs and improvements. Ensure that laundry facilities and machines are working properly. Coordinate repairs, services, and payment with outside vendors. Maintain a professional relationship with clients, staff, and outside vendors. May be required to travel to other facilities as needed. Assist Housing First Manager in ensuring compliance of the facility. Must always be able to adhere to Waikiki Health sites’ safety protocols and regulations. Serve as department representative for Waikiki Health Safety Committee. Other duties as assigned.
Waikiki Health is seeking a full-time Maintenance Specialist.

Pay range for this role is $18 to $23 per hour.
Schedule : Monday-Friday, 8 : 00am to 4 : 30pm.
The Maintenance Specialist performs needed repairs and improvements at Keauhou Shelter. Ability to work under minimal supervision is required.
Qualifications and abilities
- Must have a valid driver license.
- High school diploma required.
- Minimum 2 years of work experience in repair and maintenance work, including 1 year of experience working with plumbing and electrical work.
- Must be organized and able to complete all assigned tasks.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds from the ground.
- Must be proficient in the latest version of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
