Elite Corporate Medical Services is seeking a Family Practice Physician Assistant to join our team on a full-time basis at one of our clinics in Visalia.
Hours are Monday - Thursday, 7:30 am - 6:30 pm (The clinic is closed one hour for lunch).
If you are a dedicated Physician Assistant looking to make a difference in patients' lives, we encourage you to apply.
Elite Providers are responsible to: Use medical training, skills and clinical judgment to provide timely, responsive care to treat a multi-cultural patient population.Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests.Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, injuries, and conditions.Work independently, contacting offsite supervising physician as neededregarding patient care.Responsible for personalized treatment of patients, ensuring care is relevant for short and long term outcomes.Responsible for seeing all scheduled and walk-in patients each day (approximately 12 to 18 patients daily).Prescribe medications and treatments based on patient needs and in accordance with practice guidelines.Provide patient education on disease prevention, treatment options, and self-care techniques.Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) to document patient encounters and maintain accurate medical records using eClinicalWorks.
