Job Title: Civil Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking a talented and motivated Civil Engineer to assist in the development and implementation of comprehensive engineering plans. This role involves working on a variety of projects, including grading, drainage, utilities, landfill construction, and stormwater management. The Civil Engineer will support solid waste engineering design and permitting efforts for landfills and recycling facilities, as well as prepare essential technical documentation.

Work Environment
This role involves working in a small team of three in Springfield, with active collaboration with the Collinsville, IL team. The position reports directly to the PM and requires occasional travel for fieldwork, utilizing a company vehicle. The work environment offers direct mentorship from project managers, opportunities for advancement, a great benefits package, and potential for employee ownership.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Springfield, IL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $31.25 - $36.06/hr.
