Position Summary:
Responsible for operating and monitoring food production processes and equipment to ensure products are manufactured safely, efficiently, and according to established quality and production standards.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Operate and monitor production and processing equipment according to established procedures.
  • Follow recipes, formulas, batch instructions, and production specifications.
  • Accurately measure, weigh, and stage raw materials and ingredients.
  • Monitor temperatures, pressures, flow rates, mixing times, and other process controls.
  • Make routine equipment adjustments to maintain proper production conditions.
  • Perform quality checks throughout the production process to ensure products meet specifications.
  • Monitor equipment for proper operation and report malfunctions or abnormalities.
  • Complete production records, batch documentation, and quality paperwork accurately.
  • Perform equipment changeovers, cleaning, and sanitation activities as required.
  • Follow all food safety, GMP, HACCP, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and organized production area.
  • Communicate production, quality, or equipment issues to supervisors and maintenance personnel.
  • Assist with troubleshooting process or equipment problems.
  • Work closely with Line Operators and other production team members to maintain efficient production flow.
  • Meet established production, quality, and safety goals.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in food manufacturing, production, or process operations preferred.
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to operate production equipment.
  • Ability to read and follow recipes, formulas, work instructions, and production documentation.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Basic math and measurement skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift or move materials as required.
  • Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
  • Ability to follow strict food safety, sanitation, and safety requirements.
