Lead Scheduler
Scott Humphrey has partnered with a client looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Lead Scheduler. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil construction or engineering, a bachelor’s degree in a related field, and a minimum of 5 years of professional experience. This role requires expertise in developing, monitoring, and maintaining project schedules while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
Responsibilities
- Develop, update, and maintain project schedules using industry-standard software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
- Integrate project schedules with resource planning and budget forecasts.
- Track progress against the baseline schedule, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate with project teams to update schedules and reflect changes in scope, resources, and timelines.
- Liaise with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure alignment on schedules and project milestones.
- Participate in project planning meetings and contribute to strategy development.
- Perform critical path and risk analysis to anticipate potential delays and develop contingency plans.
- Monitor the impact of project risks on schedules and provide solutions to mitigate delays.
- Prepare and present detailed schedule reports, dashboards, and progress summaries to stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate records of schedule updates and historical data for future reference.
