Position Overview :
The Program Manager will be responsible for managing cancer control efforts and will coordinate outreach and training activities, work closely with the staff to respond to TTA requests, assist in development of resources, contribute to the communication plan, develop specific trainings and work with others to increase the capacity of the National Network. The individual hired will have experience in public health initiatives in tribal communities and cancer prevention.
Essential Functions :
- Manage the functions of the NNDA and is responsible for attaining the yearly objectives of the program.
- Utilize resources provided by granting agency, such as technical experts, to strengthen and develop the program.
- Work closely with program director and evaluator to implement appropriate and comprehensive data collection policies and train staff accordingly as needed
- Work with program director and evaluator to conduct random quality checks on training and technical assistance provided to grantees.
- Develop strong partnerships and collaborations with National Network and grantees to improve services.
- Work with evaluator to develop and implement technical assistance tracking document for the project.
- Assist in development and implementation of trainings, resources, webinars, and communication plan for the project
- Work with Program Director to monitor program success.
- Assist in supervision of all staff as needed, and consultants of NNDA.
- Performs other duties as assigned by Executive Director.Develop & facilitate virtual TEAMS planning sessions of advisory committee

Requirements / Qualifications :
Job Classification : Regular status, non-exempt, temporary full-time position with a twelve-month probationary period. Employment period based on performance as well as duration of grants funding this position and successful application of continuing and / or new grants.
