Job Title : Child Life Specialist

Job Specialty : Child Life Specialist

Job Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 08 : 00 AM - 04 : 30 PM, some weekends required

Guaranteed Hours :

Experience : Minimum of 1 year experience in a healthcare setting

License :

Certifications : Certification as a Child Life Specialist, Basic Life Support (BLS)

Must-Have : Bachelor's degree in a relevant field

Job Description :

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate psychosocial patient and family needs for patients aged neonatal to 17 years, including neonates, pediatric, and adolescents.
Provide psychosocial support to meet the needs of patients and families.
Plan and coordinate activities designed to enhance the social, emotional, intellectual, and physical growth of the child within both inpatient and outpatient settings.
Utilize age-appropriate principles of growth and development.
Act as an advocate for patients and families.
Perform other related duties as required.
Work as part of a comprehensive network of pediatric specialists and support services, treating children of all ages.
Support facilities that currently serve a wide range of patients and execute over a million patient visits each year in various healthcare settings.
