Public Relations Manager
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Public Relations Manager to elevate our corporate brand reputation, strengthen executive visibility, and align our internal values with compelling external messaging. This role will serve as the primary liaison with our PR agency, coordinating proactive media efforts, issue management, and storytelling initiatives that reflect the company's purpose and DRIVE behaviors.
As the lead for our external communications efforts, you will work closely with internal communications, corporate affairs, and senior leaders to ensure a cohesive voice across all channels.
Key Responsibilities
Agency & Media Relations
- Act as the day-to-day point of contact for the company's PR agency, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and messaging.
- Develop and review press materials, media lists, and briefing documents.
- Pitch and coordinate earned media opportunities aligned with business priorities and campaign themes.
- Lead media readiness planning and support for executive spokespeople.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field
5-7 years of experience in PR, corporate communications, or media strategy (agency and in-house experience preferred)
Proven success in managing PR agencies and building strong media relationships
Experience working with executives on visibility and positioning
Strong understanding of issue / crisis communications best practices
Excellent writing, editing, and strategic thinking skills
Preferred Qualifications
Automotive, retail, or Fortune 500 experience
Working knowledge of ESG, philanthropy, or CSR communications
Familiarity with internal comms strategy and cultural alignment initiatives
