A Day in the Life of a Housekeeping Dispatcher / Administrative Manager
- The Housekeeping Dispatcher / Administrative Manager is responsible for scheduling the work activities of the Guest Room Attendants and Hotel Housemen and other housekeeping support personnel to ensure proper staffing levels are maintained consistently.
- Communicates via radio dispatch to staff to respond to special service requests, emergencies, etc. Assigns duties in coordination with Housekeeping Manager and Shift Supervisors with a balanced rooms / floor assignment per team member. Dispatch QA Inspectors to the requisite number of room / area inspections to be performed daily.
- Receive facility related work order requests and dispatch to facilities maintenance team. Receive cleaning related work orders (ex. : spill / extraction requests, etc.) and dispatch specialty projects / heavy duty cleaning personnel to take corrective action. Close out work orders as they are completed and inspected for quality control.
