Job descriptionReceive incoming service requests via phone, email, and dispatch software. Schedule and dispatch HVAC, plumbing, and electrical technicians to residential and commercial jobs based on availability, skill set, and location. Optimize daily routes and adjust schedules in real-time for emergencies or delays. Outbound calling to schedule appointments when necessary Serve as the first point of contact for customers needing service or follow-up. Provide accurate time estimates, confirm appointments, and keep clients updated on technician arrival times and job status. Communicate job details clearly to technicians, ensuring they are fully briefed before dispatch. Monitor job progress and assist with any issues that arise in the field. Knowledge of Service Titan a plus Ensure all documentation, including work orders, time logs, and notes, are properly recorded. Work closely with customer service, billing, and operations teams to ensure seamless service delivery. Participate in team meetings and help improve dispatch procedures and efficiency. High school diploma or GED required; associate's degree preferred. 1+ years of experience in a dispatching or scheduling role, preferably in a trade or service industry. Strong understanding of HVAC, plumbing, or electrical terminology is a plus. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Proficient with dispatching software (e.g., ServiceTitan,) and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work well under pressure. Problem-solving mindset with a keen attention to detail.
