Join Our Team as a Night Shift Quality Assurance Supervisor

Location : Portland, OR | Schedule : Sunday – Thursday Nights | Status : Exempt, Full-Time

Quality Harvest Foods is hiring a Quality Assurance Supervisor (Night Shift) to champion our food safety programs and lead a team that ensures our products meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance. What You’ll Do :

Supervise and guide QA Technicians on your shift, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.

Conduct audits and inspections of the facility, production lines, and equipment to identify and resolve food safety or quality issues.

Review production and quality documentation, verifying accuracy and signing off on PCQI-required records.

Support customer, regulatory, and third-party audits—helping prepare, host, and follow up on corrective actions.

Lead special projects like pilot trials, data collection events, and line validations.

Maintain and update critical logs (e.g., holds, foreign material incidents) with precision and timeliness.

Prepare clear, detailed shift pass-down reports and review team timecards and scheduling needs.

What You Bring :

At least 1 year of supervisory experience in a food manufacturing or CPG environment.

Foundational understanding of food safety systems such as HACCP, FSMA, GFSI, and 21 CFR.

Strong organizational skills and a results-driven approach.

Clear, confident communication—especially when translating technical terms into team-friendly language.

PCQI certification or the ability to obtain it shortly after hire.

Comfort working in both hot and cold conditions, and ability to lift up to 30 lbs. as needed.

Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Shift Details :

Schedule : Sunday – Thursday overnight, with occasional Fridays as needed. 9 : 00 PM - 6AM

Pay : Competitive and commensurate with experience.

Reports To : Director, FSQA

Direct Reports : Up to 3
