Job descriptionDevelop, implement, and refine QA strategies, processes, and methodologies to support the continuous improvement of solutions. Collaborate with developers and business stakeholders to establish QA objectives, testing scope, and success criteria. Oversee the creation of comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure all systems are thoroughly validated. Manage the end-to-end QA lifecycle, from requirements analysis to post-deployment validation. Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to software quality and performance. Provide regular status updates and quality metrics reports to senior management andstakeholders. Work closely with development, operations, and business teams to ensure seamless coordination and alignment on QAobjectives. Facilitate cross-functional communication to ensure transparency and resolve issues related to software quality. Evaluate new testing tools, technologies, and processes to improve overall efficiency and effectiveness of the QA function. Promote a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring that feedback is integrated into future projects. Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Relevantcertifications (e.g., ISTQB, Six Sigma, Agile / Scrum certifications) are a plus. Minimum of 5 years of experience in software testing / QA, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role.Proven experience with manual and automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Postman, ReadyAPI, etc.). Testing within a technical development environments on complex business applications UI, Mobile App, and / or API Testing Experience Ability to adapt to a changing environment Experience in airline information systems environment Bilingual (Spanish) Azure DevOps / Studio Online Experience with cloud computing (e.g., AWS, Microsoft Azure) and DevOps practices. Expertise in database management and testing, with knowledge of relational databases (e.g., MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle) and experience with database testing. Familiarity withETL processes and testing of data pipelines. Proficiency with automated testing tools such as Postman, Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, and Appium. Experience in performance testing using tools like LoadRunner or JMeter to ensure high availability and reliability in a 24 / 7 airline environment. Understanding ofsecurity testing, particularly in highly regulated industries like aviation.
